Cool off with this yummy, refreshing watermelon strawberry slush, a perfect summer drink. Made with frozen watermelon, strawberries, coconut yogurt, and splashes of lime juice and orange juice (or any fruit juice), this slushie is tangy, sweet and very cold.
When freezing your fruit for the drink, remember that you need one cup of each fruit per slush. You can make the slushes one serving at a time in a personal blender, or you can mix more than one at a time if you have a bigger blender. The recipe can easily be doubled, tripled, or whatever you need.
To make the frozen coconut yogurt cubes, spoon coconut (vegan) yogurt into an ice tray and freeze. Pop the cubes out and keep them in an airtight container in the freezer.
Add two tablespoons of fresh, filtered water to each slush before blending if you want the classic slush consistency. If you want a less slushy drink, one you can eat with a spoon, omit the water.
Because the watermelon has so much water content, this drink is very icy and cold.
